Bansko is a town in southwestern Bulgaria, which in recent years has developed as the best and most modern ski resort. It is located in the foothills of Northern Pirin Mountain, 927 meters above sea level. The resort has ski slopes for all categories, from beginners to masters. The highest ski point is 2560 meters and the lowest 1000 m.
